ELECTRIC MOTORS AND LARGE drive systems specialist Innomotics has received an order from the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado, to provide a rectifier power supply system for an electrolyser testing facility for green hydrogen electrolysers.

Upgrading older motors to modern, more efficient alternatives can offer significant savings in both energy costs and emissions. However, replacing a motor with a new equivalent isn't always practical.
