The AEMT Awards returns again for another spectacular evening. Showcasing the very best achievements from the entire electrical and mechanical trades sector in a global celebration of business and professional excellence.
Nine award categories have been chosen to exemplify excellence in the rotating electrical machinery trades. The gala dinner celebrates the industry with a line-up of sumptuous food and electrifying entertainment, all wrapped up in the exhilarating atmosphere of an awards ceremony.
The AEMT awards ceremony attracts some big names in the industry and is a primary networking event for Westin Engineering Group.
It’s refreshing and rewarding to be recognised for our commitment to skills and training.

I very much enjoyed the night and was very happy with the hospitality and service. I was very proud to have been there and being put forward for an award as it made the hard work that I do feel meaningful and gave me a sense of recognition for the work I do. I feel like the event is very important for the industry and the connection for company-to-company relationships making the industry more accessible and have a greater focus on helping other companies.

The AEMT Awards celebrate the fantastic service centres and suppliers who all provide vital electro-mechanical services and equipment to industry to help keep the lights on and the production lines running. Megger were delighted to win the Product of the Year award with the ADX static Motor Analyser, which is widely used by AEMT members. To have the ADX recognised by experts in the electro-mechanical field is an honour for Megger.
The Awards evening is a thoroughly enjoyable event, and I would encourage any companies who have not attended before to do so for 2025.

The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel has been chosen as the venue for the AEMT Conference and Awards. The Hotel is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Birmingham International Airport. Just off the M6 near Coventry, the hotel is located in the heart of England and is easy to find. We have reserved rooms for the evening, so please book your seats only and we will contact you about your room confirmation.
On the night of the Awards, we will be supporting our nominated charity the British Red Cross, with a game of Heads & Tails. The AEMT enjoys a degree of synergy with the work the Red Cross undertakes globally, as it reflects the ‘emergency response’ service that our members offer. We see ourselves as the 4th emergency service: keeping lights on, water flowing, transport running, and factories producing, as our Red Cross workers at floods, fires, natural disasters, and war zones.
The AEMT Codes of Pracice are being replaced with our provisional codes of practice at the end of 2025. Members will be asked to demonstrate compliance with these codes by 2027. The Secretariat and Council are preparing for this transition, ensuring members have the support, resources and tools needed to comply.
