2025 AEMT Award Winners Announced
Hosted by footballing icon, Kevin Keegan OBE, the gala presentation dinner was once again held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, conveniently located at the M6/M69 intersection. The evening celebrated achievements in professional excellence, product innovation, skills development, engineering expertise, sustainability, and exceptional service delivery.
Operated by the AEMT and produced by Touchwave Media, the awards programme acknowledges the skill, effort and sheer dedication of the people and businesses serving today's complex electrical and mechanical service, maintenance, and repair sector. With sponsorship provided by a host of leading industry names, well deserved industry-wide recognition was given to those businesses and individuals that are excelling in their professional endeavours.
In addition to his highly engaging After Dinner Speech, which took full advantage of the supporting a/v equipment to showcase some of the key moments from his illustrious career, both on and off the pitch, Kevin also helped to deliver the main award presentations.
The AEMT’s chosen charity for this event is The Red Cross, and a healthy £2320.00 was raised through an entertaining ‘Wheel of Fortune’, the winner of which received a bottle of bubbly, £100 in cash, and an England football shirt sign by Kevin Keegan.
The entertainment continued late into the night with an energetic performance by our live band, The Parachutes, who brought their own unique spin to a broad range of go-to hits. In addition to enticing guests onto the dance floor with their own set list, the band also played a string of requests, much to everyone’s delight.
