Certification Bodies for IECEx Certification of Personnel Competencies (CoPC)
IECEx approved certification bodies who can issue Certificates of Personal Competency for individuals who repair and overhaul Ex equipment.
These organisations are approved to operate within the IECEx Scheme for Certification of Personnel Competencies (CoPC) and can therefore issue IECEx Certificates of Personnel Competencies. Please check this website for regular updates as other bodies are in the process of being approved to operate within this scheme. The Scope is according to IECEx Operational Document OD504.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting AEMT members, this recording summarises the key takeaways from our recent webinar on the 2025 changes to IEC 60079-19, the international standard for the repair, overhaul, and reclamation of equipment used in explosive atmospheres. The webinar was hosted by Karl and Peter, two of the AEMT's lead technical trainers, and covered: changes in the new edition of 60079-19, the effects on operations as well as guidance on going forward.
