Hidrostal Ltd is the 100% Swiss owned subsidiary of the family run global business Hidrostal AG, the inventors of the screw centrifugal pump.
Hidrostal Ltd was established in the UK in 1980. Bare shaft pumps are brought to the UK from Switzerland where they are customised to specification. This includes the fitting of seals, local manufacture of drive assemblies for vertical sump pumps, fabrication of baseplates for horizontal units and assembly to UK procured motors and couplings. The complete customised pumps are then shipped to the final customer.
Alongside its sister companies, Bedford Pumps and Avonmouth Engineering Services, Hidrostal offers a wide range of highly efficient pumps from the smallest to the largest of plants, along with a host of support, engineering and innovative performance monitoring services. Our National Service Centres provide excellent facilities for service, refurbishments, repairs and spare parts and offer support to our own and 3rd party products. We offer both inhouse and onsite maintenance and all aftercare services are undertaken by experts with specialist knowledge and understanding of the industry. Our UK facilities also provide an extensive portfolio for repair overhaul and upgrade of electromechanical technologies, including winding, balancing, magnetic testing and calibration, spray painting and electrical testing. Together we are your partners for pumping plant and electromechanical engineering solutions.
