Founded in 1981, DOPET is one of Qatar's largest companies undertaking EPIC projects, shutdowns/ turnarounds workshop maintenance services, manpower supply and sales representation of prestigious oilfield equipment service providers. Our involvement with the oil and gas industry has been extensive with the repair and refurbishment of electric motors, generators and pumps used to drive off shore and onshore plants. We offer comprehensive range of quality services that covers repair, rewind and overhaul of low and high voltage motors.
With fully equipped complete in-house Mechanical Electrical Workshop for coil winding, rotor dynamic balancing, machining and test capabilities up to 14.4kV, we offer fast turnaround for motors and pumps. Latest testing techniques were utilised in workshop to ensure our repairs meet or exceed OEM specifications.
With a commitment to quality and dedicated teamwork, we ensure that our workshop divisions are fully equipped with modern equipments and sophisticated machineries. Our maintenance facility is also sustained to the highest standard to support our client's requirements.
Our electrical activities include the installation of transformers, switchgear and other substation equipment, light fittings and JB installations, Power and control cable laying, cable tray installations both in hazardous non-hazardous areas. We carry out HV cable termination and jointing (up to 33kV) and installation of standby power generators.
DOPET has successfully carried out diverse assignments in the areas of Motor Pump workshop services, Fabrication, installation of piping, structural projects, fabrication of pressure vessels and tanks, Instrumentation calibration, valve overhauling, etc.
