About CENTRAL GROUP (HQ)
Founded in 1972, Central Group are specialists in the repair of rotating electro-mechanical equipment and carry out services in our Knowsley based workshop. These services include: AC, DC and slip-ring motor rewinds/repairs; wind generator rewinds and repairs; gearbox overhaul and refurbishment; pump refurbishment; fan unit repairs. Our state-of the art spiral welder can be used to repair motor shafts, pump shafts, rollers and internal bores, helping to significantly reduce repair client costs. Through our Energy division we can identify areas for energy saving and provide a full turnkey solution to make these recommendations a reality. On site services include installation, condition monitoring and fault diagnosis and maintenance on all rotating equipment and the associated drive train. A founder member of both the ABB Drives Alliance (now Authorised Value Provider) and the Motor Service Partnership, a UK Agent for AOIP and a Siemens Approved Partner, we are a contributing member of EASA and a member of The Manufacturers Alliance.
