The very nature of repairing, renewing and recycling is sustainable. By encouraging customers to take the most sustainable option of repairing or replacing equipment, we are lowering their carbon footprint. However, there is also lots we can do to reduce our own emissions. This working group looks at how we can set a benchmark to record our industry’s carbon footprint.

Codes of Practice Codes of Practice

Modernising our Codes of Practise will help us achieve a benchmark standard for the industry, and ensure that AEMT membership is synonymous with quality. Sign up to this group if you believe that the AEMT should be a mark of quality, and that we can do more to encourage this in our members.

AEMT Council AEMT Council

Although not a working group, the council is free for anyone to join for a commited 2 year term. As the governing body of the AEMT, the council is made up of representatives of the AEMT from all over the membership. The council meet up at least 3 times a year, and vote on, endorse and shape the direction of the AEMT. To shape how you want the AEMT to work, join the council!
