Panks Engineers has been established for over 170 years and is an ISO9001:2000 certified company that offers the complete package for all your electrical/mechanical pump/motor requirements. Not only do we offer the complete pump/motor service we are also experts in carrying out energy surveys, designing and installing bespoke irrigation and HVAC systems.

We have designated electrical and mechanical contract engineers, borehole drillers and water treatment engineers.

Our external service and internal workshop engineers that work out of our specialist 16,000 square foot workshop in the heart of Norwich have extensive knowledge in the complete A-Z pump range and their systems, on top of this we offer a 24 hour breakdown service and are experts in applying protective coatings which helps to prevent the hydraulic end suffering premature failure due to corrosion.

The industries we are specialists in are agriculture, chemical, food processing, sewage, water treatment, drainage, leisure, plumbing heating and not forgetting domestic market.

We are approved distributors for many of the leading pump manufacturers which includes Biral, Flygt, Grundfos, Flowserve, Sulzer, KSB, Lowara, DAB, Mono, Varisco, Stuart Turner and Tuthill amongst others, this enables us to source the most suitable pump that matches your requirements.

Accreditations we currently hold are ISO9001:2000, CHAS, Achilles, Gas Safe, Oftec, Safe Contractors and NICEIC electrical installer.

We are member of the following groups: The Well Drillers Association, ECA (Electrical Contractors Association) and PDA (Pump Distributors Association)

Codes of Practice 2025

IMPORTANT:

The AEMT Codes of Pracice are being replaced with our provisional codes of practice at the end of 2025. Members will be asked to demonstrate compliance with these codes by 2027. The Secretariat and Council are preparing for this transition, ensuring members have the support, resources and tools needed to comply.
