The whole day will provide various activities designed to challenge thinking, enhance skills and build confidence.

• 09:30: Welcome & Introduction
• 09:45: Karl Metcalfe - The basics around Ex Zones, Equipment and standards
• 10:15: Chris Powles - his apprentice journey
• 10:45: Break
• 11:00: Split into groups to enjoy a site tour or test you skills with some friendly competition involving motors and inverters.
• 12:30: Lunch
• 13:30: Afternoon teambuilding activity

The hosts of this event, Westin Drives, specialise in electric motor rewinds and repairs for a wide range of industrial machinery. If apprentices are directly involved with or just interested in this type of work, the Apprentice Day should provide valuable insight, an opportunity to share experiences with other apprentices and a platform to ask questions and gain knowledge...all whilst having a good time!
