About W. MAGES (REWINDS) LTD

Mages Group was established in 1960 by Mr William Mages under the name W.Mages (Rewinds) Ltd.

The firms origins were supporting the local agriculture and quarrying industry in the region and has since grown to become one of the South West's leaders in electromechanical engineering.

In 1999, William's son Anthony introduced S&G engineering to the firm. Since the acquisition, Mages Group has become well known for its mechanical division, engineering capabilities and electrical services. Due to our long standing presence within all the mentioned scope of services, we can offer full package solutions to see a majority of projects from start to finish.

Mages offers repairs and the supply motors, pumps, gearboxes and generators (Both AC/DC/Single phase and 3 phase). We are an authorised stockist of Crompton Greaves motors and can ship throughout the UK. Our in house services include dynamic balancing, metal spraying, grit-blasting, CNC machining, full  machining and fabrication (Mig/tig/arc) including UKCA/CE marked structural steelwork, and we have a lifting capacity of 10 tonnes. We can also undertake all types of on-site work with confined space engineers, vibration analysis, NIC EIC electricians, Thermal imaging engineers and Laser alignment. 

Mages also has a sales and distribution centre holding stock of motors, pumps, gearboxes. power transmission components, bearings, lubrication, electrical components, sealants, fasteners/fixings and hand tools.

We hold various accreditations to give you peace of mind including; ISO 9001:2015, BE EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 Execution class 2, ATEX Repairs, NIC EIC, F-GAS, Achilles UVDB, Construction Line Gold, Safe Contractor & Avetta.

The Mages team is available 24/7, providing you with peace of mind that we are ready for critical breakdown situations. All of our services come with free collection and delivery and we operate a no obligation free quotation scheme.
