Established over 40 years as Grants Electrical Services Ltd., we have grown into GES Group, an award winning Electrical and Mechanical Engineering company, serving customers throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe. Traditionally electric motor rewind specialists, we have developed an extensive product and service portfolio as a market leader, to provide a holistic solution to our customers.

Our range of services include: laser alignment, dynamic balancing, vibration analysis, AC/DC motor overhauls and rewinds, as well as machining and fabrication. We specialise in planned maintenance programmes, LV/HV installations and upgrades, and reactive breakdown maintenance, as well as the design, build, installation and commissioning of innovative power quality systems, and on-site PLC programming. We are experienced in many forms of renewable energy systems, including biogas, wind, hydro, solar and energy storage.

We aim to increase efficient output for our customers, reducing breakdowns and increasing valuable process uptime. All GES Group Engineers have access to fully equipped mobile service vehicles, which enable a fast response 24/7/365. We work for a wide variety of industries, including utilities, agriculture, food and beverage, quarrying and mining, heavy industry, power generation, and more.

We are an Approved Distributor and Repair Agent for Brook Crompton and Nidec (Leroy Somer motors), a Schneider Electric Integration Partner, the sole UK and Ireland Agent for Sanergrid containment solutions, as well as an Authorised Value Provider for ABB drives.

We hold Investors in People accreditation, are NQA accredited to ISO 18001, 45001, and 9001, and in 2022 we requalified as Deloitte Best Managed Company - Gold- status. We are proud to have invested over £100,000 launching Ireland's first Servo Motor Repair Centre.

Codes of Practice 2025

IMPORTANT:

The AEMT Codes of Pracice are being replaced with our provisional codes of practice at the end of 2025. Members will be asked to demonstrate compliance with these codes by 2027.
