The updated IEC 60079-19:2025 standard has prompted a number of questions from members, particularly around the role and requirements of the “Responsible Person.” To help clarify this important area, the AEMT will be hosting a dedicated Q&A webinar led by our technical expert, Karl Metcalfe, on Monday, 16th March at 10 am. We expect Karl to be able to offer explanations within half an hour but have scheduled this for an hour in case it runs over.
