How to support yourself and others with mental health

Overview

We all need mental health support, and we can all offer support to others. By offering early intervention, most types of mental ill-health can be prevented, and prevention is always better than cure. There are lots of types of support available including medical, therapy, mental health apps and workplace schemes. It is important to signpost people to the most appropriate support.

Introduction to mental health

Overview

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing. This module will explore the importance of recognising and treating mental health with the same emphasis as physical health.

Overview

Stigmas and discrimination can manifest itself in many different ways. Sometimes its subtle, other times it can be more obvious. This module explores what you and your organisation can do to help tackle stigmas and discrimination relating to mental health.
