Established in 2004 and geographically located in the heart of Industrial Sheffield, RE Field Services Ltd provide unparalleled support to operators of Medium to High Voltage Motors, Alternators and associated equipment worldwide. Since the formation in 2004, RE Field Services Ltd have established an enviable reputation within the HV Motor and Generator service industry.
Because our Integrated Management Systems are fully certified to ISO9001 by BSI our customers can be confident in receiving the highest quality and service levels possible.
We offer a full service on Electrical Motors, Generators and balance plant. From basic wash, brush up bearing replacement on low kW motors to 150MW generator in situ Rotor withdrawal Majors. Our Pinfold works facility, where you would be welcome to visit at any time in Sheffield has 18,000sqft in two separate bays with internal lifting capacity.
Our full range of Electrical Diagnosis Services include Polarisation tests, Tan Delta Partial Discharge as well as HV inspection and in-situ Boroscope fault analysis. Our team consists of all the skills required to undertake a Major Overhaul whether on site or within our workshop consisting of Project Managers, Supervisors, Fitters, Testers and Winders. We also have our own mobile workshops with machining, fitting, lifting and welding capability complete with remote power supply for shutdowns and outages.

The AEMT Codes of Pracice are being replaced with our provisional codes of practice at the end of 2025. Members will be asked to demonstrate compliance with these codes by 2027.
