Codes of Practice Working Group

Modernising our Codes of Practise will help us achieve a benchmark standard for the industry, and ensure that AEMT membership is synonymous with quality. Sign up to this group if you believe that the AEMT should be a mark of quality, and that we can do more to encourage this in our members.

At our Autumn council meeting, it was agreed that a re-writing of the association’s codes of practice will help the AEMT to modernise, and provide a benchmark for us to measure members against. In future, we plan to audit all members against these codes of practice, so we can assure that AEMT members offer quality.

IMPORTANT:

The AEMT Codes of Pracice are being replaced with our provisional codes of practice at the end of 2025. Members will be asked to demonstrate compliance with these codes by 2027. The Secretariat and Council are preparing for this transition, ensuring members have the support, resources and tools needed to comply.
