Hidrostal Engineering UK operates the UK’s largest electromechanical repair facility, delivering 24/7/365 support across critical industries. IPS NEWCASTLE

IPS Newcastle is a full-service motor, generator, and pump repair centre with in-house coil manufacture and rewind expertise. Combining innovation with rigorous safety culture and sustainability commitments, the centre delivers end-to-end repair solutions across multiple sectors. With ISO accreditations, Ecovadis recognition, 870 incident-free days, proven customer satisfaction, and a strong apprenticeship programme, IPS Newcastle consistently perform on price, delivery, and quality, setting industry benchmarks in service, safety, and sustainability.

 

QUALITY SERVOMOTOR REPAIRS

Quality Servomotor Repairs was established in 2011 and Westin Drives acquired the business in 2024 on the retirement of its founder. The entire operation including all staff and existing equipment was relocated from Stockport to Huddersfield at the start of 2025. A new and improved workshop was set up from scratch, which entailed significant financial investment in facilities, equipment, staff and an additional standalone EMIR software system.

Codes of Practice 2025

IMPORTANT:

The AEMT Codes of Pracice are being replaced with our provisional codes of practice at the end of 2025. Members will be asked to demonstrate compliance with these codes by 2027. The Secretariat and Council are preparing for this transition, ensuring members have the support, resources and tools needed to comply.
