Connor joined Hidrostal just five years ago as a Service Technician and has since risen to Workshop Supervisor, leading a team with confidence and credibility. With a military engineering background, he brings discipline, practical expertise, and a solutions-focused mindset. Connor has driven improvements in workflow, communication, and team morale through hands-on leadership and continuous development. His commitment, adaptability, and natural leadership make him a standout talent and a true rising star in the engineering industry.

Tom Blyth - HIDROSTAL ENGINEERING UK

Since joining Hidrostal Engineering UK Tom Blyth has made an immediate impact. With a rare blend of technical skill, maturity, and passion for engineering, Tom has already completed high-voltage and ATEX motor rewinds, Advanced Ex training, and mentors’ fellow apprentices - outstanding accomplishments for an engineer of his age.  A compelling speaker at the 2024 AEMT Conference, Tom is not only excelling in his role-he’s inspiring others and actively shaping the future of the industry.

Harrison Nutall - INNOMOTICS

Harrison is a talented commissioning and service engineer who has made a remarkable impact since joining Innomotics in 2024. With specialist training in Germany and the USA, he combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills. Trusted in high-pressure environments, he has already delivered critical projects ahead of schedule and earned recognition for his professionalism, resourcefulness and leadership potential, making him a standout young engineer in the drives industry.

Tyler Perkin - INNOMOTICS

Tyler is an electro-mechanical degree apprentice who has quickly established himself as an invaluable member of Innomotics. Combining strong mechanical design skills with practical engineering ability, he contributes to projects from CAD modelling to on-site commissioning. Already praised by colleagues and customers for his professionalism, creativity and teamwork, Tyler is helping secure major contracts while developing innovative tools such as a Variable Speed Drive demonstration rig.

Dominic Harvey - SULZER SERVICES

Dominic Harvey, a standout apprentice at Sulzer Services (UK) Ltd, has rapidly become a pivotal asset, managing high-value projects and driving innovation across the business. His passion for engineering, commitment to professional development, and leadership in outreach initiatives inspire colleagues and future engineers alike, both within Sulzer and externally across the industry. Dominic’s exceptional achievements and relentless drive mark him as a true rising star in the industry 

Oliver Wilson - WESTIN DRIVES

Oliver has always been interested in technology and is now in the third year of his apprenticeship as a technical services engineer, carrying out site work on pumps, fans, inverter drives, PLC’s and control systems. He thinks quickly in breakdown situations and has become a significant source of technical knowledge when senior colleagues are unavailable. Oliver always receives good responses from customers, and his behaviour and quality of work enhance the reputation of our company.
