We are expanding and looking for a full time repair engineer for our workshop in Washington, Tyne & Wear.

Working on a vast array of Industrial Motors and Servo Motors, you will be significantly challenged on a technical level on a day to day basis.

The ideal candidates will be fully time served and experienced, with a solid background in AC and DC Motor Repairs, overhauls and associated equipment.

The ability to work on your own initiative, good communication and problem-solving skills are also required.

Role description:

  • Testing functionality of industrial equipment and rotating machinery required
  • Electrical/motor fault find and repair
  • Utilising equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes and function generators
  • Providing technical support to customers on occasion
  • Working within a team of other skilled engineers and technicians.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Mechanical/Electrical related qualifications preferred
  • Experience in fault finding and repair on induction motors and DC machines
  • Strong team player
