AEMT Member meetings are a fantastic opportunity to meet, learn and network with professionals in the electrical and mechanical trades. They are hosted at different locations including the premises of Members and Associates around the UK. Presentations of a technical and business angle are given by specialists in their fields.

Event Details

At the AGM the election of officers for 2019/2020 are endorsed, as well as the annual reports on the Association's progress and plans for the future. It is the main opportunity for Members to say how the Association can help and support Members and Associates in their businesses.

The 74th Annual General Meeting for the AEMT will be taking place at 09:45am at The Nottingham Belfry Hotel, on Wednesday, June 12th.

60034-23 Standard Forum - Best Workshop Practice for Motor Repairs 

The forum will introduce an overview of the new international repair, overhaul and reclamation of rotating equipment standard IEC 60034-23:2018, followed by a discussion on the problems we face and proposed solutions. 


Recruitment & Employee Engagement Advice Appointments

Following lunch, Members will have the opportunity to book one-to-one, 20 minute appointments with a range of experts who specialise in helping people in our industry attract, recruit and retain talent.

Speed Networking

For those would like the chance to get to know more members, we are organising 'speed networking'.  Depending on numbers, you will speak with the person opposite you for 5-10 minutes, then move along to have a conversation with the next person.
